The two comparison pics are with my 709 slim. I am pretty amazed. For holding 3 more rounds of a larger caliber the PT145 REALLY isnt much thicker then the slim. Dimensionally it's almost identical. The handle is EVER so slightly longer but everything else is the same.
It feels great in my hand. I've been doing some dry fire practice and the gun points very naturally. Even more so then my S&W 908. I'll be going to the range on sunday to give it a good work out.
I ordered a convertible IWB/OWB from CCholsters which I should have in around a month. Assuming everything works out the way I hope it does this may bery well be my new EDC.
Nice. Regardless of what most people say, I am a HUGE Taurus fan. No. Really. I weigh 468 pounds. J/k. Taurus has never let me down. Buying another one on Saturday
Congrats Rollo I hope you enjoy it. I put another 100 rounds through mine last night be a NRA meeting. That puts it at 1500. Read up on the Heinie sights if you have not used them before the sight picture is different.
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Congrats Rollo. Please give us a range report ASAP. I hope it meets and exceeds your needs and expectations. I also have a Taurus PT709 and I've been delighted in every way. 600 flawless rounds. The Millenium looks great and it amazes me that they can make a 45 so close in size. Enjoy it and let us know your thoughts after some range time.
