I carried a 3953, which would be the single-stack-magazine equivalent. Great gun! I let a friend have it, not because I didn't love the gun, but because I cared very much for my friend. I thought I could find another, but those are rare, and their owners tend to hang onto them.

I won one in a raffle a few years ago. It shoots everything I try to feed it, spare parts and magazines are available. It's great for what I paid for it, which was $5. I think it's a good choice. When I carried it I used a PC 69 series magazine in it and a 59 series for a spare. I found a source for pre-ban magazines during the ban and stocked up on lots of them.

I carried my 6946 for 2+ years until I picked up my M&P40c but I still love and carry my 6946 sometimes.
