    New SW 1911 .45 Sub Compact Pro

    Recently purchased the SW Sbu Compact Pro (SKU 178020) and it's a beaut. Added an ambidextrous safety as I normally fire left handed but everything else is stock. Shown is the first 50 round target shot at 10 yards with 230gr FMJ loads. Several subsequent trips to the range have yeilded no malfunctions at all. Recoil/barrel rise is significantly more than 4 to 5" 1911's but still the pistol is easy to handle. Shown also for comparison purposes is the SW next to a Series 80 Gold Cup. Ordered both a TT Gunleather and Sparks VM2 holster; expect a report on those items on arrival.
