Picked up a new pocket pistol a couple days ago. I took the advice from some people on this forum (Thanks guys!) and ended up getting a Ruger LCP (The serial prefix is 372 so I'm good on the recall lol). So far I really like it. It's small and light and easy to carry. Thanks again for all the help and advice from everyone here.
I have pictures of it on my blog, and I'll toss direct links on the bottom here.
(All the links are directly to the pictures which are quire large. My blog is clean aside from a strong word or two. The post that has a direct link is completely safe.)

Congrats on the new addition. I've had one for a little over a year now and I can honestly say, it's one of my best decisions for a carry option. It can literally be carried anywhere and deep concealment is easily achieved. Plenty of protection if applied as intended i.e. (two or three well placed rounds).
was you able to get any ammo? that's the big problem now day with the 380. i would give it a good break in to make sure it will do the job. i got an old kel tec p3at and i ran several hundred rounds through it before i would carry it. that was years ago when there was cheap 380 ammo to be found. i would do the same with the ruger.

Congrats. Mine is also part of the '372' series, and has faithfully handled every type of round I've fed it. I've managed to stock-pile a sufficient amount of .380 in the last 6 months, and haven't paid much more than 33 cents a round. It's just a matter of diligently going after it. This LCP a solid firearm that I carry 'one in the pipe' securely with confidence. FWIW, here's what I carry it in:

i have been debating a lcp and a642 been sorta holding out to see how the 380 ammo plays out.
Nice photos! WHEC, that wallet holster link is helpful, thanks for posting that.
Looks exactly like my P3AT. Looks good nice to see a sensible CC gun here.
LCPs are nice. I am the only one I know that doesn't have one. I already have one 380 and I just can't justify another.

Congrats on the new LCP. I love mine... Check out the elsiepea forum for a bunch of pocket and wallet holster makers and a lot of good info.

Nice!! Nice heard a lot of goog things about them!!!
"You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or use any other word you think will work but I've found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much the universal language."
Congratulations FlexT on the new LCP. We are starting to see .380 ammo on the shelves around hear; hopefully supplies will continue to increase and the price will come back down. I carry in the Recluse pocket holster. Put some rounds through it and let us know your thoughts.
Nice. Mine is in the waistband of my PJ's as I type this. It is a 370 series, but it was flawless before the recall and has been since.
Since we are calling this a "pocket pistol".......
When you have the LCP in a pocket holster, does it fit in your front shirt pocket? For example, if you are wearing a t-shirt with a pocket, a flannel shirt, a dress shirt, does it fit in the front shirt pocket?
