I read the expected release is summer of 2010, does anyone know what kind of price range to expect? I'll probably start looking for an FNP45 around the time that comes out as I'm sure we'll see a price drop while dealers try to make room on their shelfs

I know who makes holsters for them....

What is different about these as from the FNP?

Is this like an XD > XDm type update/upgrade?

I really like my FNP9, except for the utter lack of holsters for it. These could be a good line as well. I may even pick one up in the future if holster manufacturers start giving FN guns (other than the 5.7) some love.

I love my FNP .45, but it's to big to carry, however with 15 rounds of .45 acp, a laser and a light on the rail, it makes a dandy bedside weapon.

No but if I did I would have a room full of them already.

I bought my FNP-9 for roughly $495 about a year ago. While I like what they did with the decocker/safety, I'll pass on the FNX. The improvements are not worth an extra $100+. BTW, the price on the decocker-only FNP hasn't gone up.

    Thumbs up

Just picked up a FNX 9mm for $587. Love it so far, it is a very well made gun. Easy take down, smooth action. The double action and decocker mech. is great. It comes with three 16 round capacity stainless steel mags. If you have a chance to fire one you wont be disappointed.
