I carry mine in a double mag carrier that I made from some spare leather and I carry it in my weak side front pocket. I've tried to carry it on my waist, but it was way to uncomfortable for me. It'll be a slow reload, but I'll be looking for cover long before I run the pistol dry. I hope anyway.

Even when I carry my pistol IWB I carry my extra mag OWB. There are plenty of IWB mag carriers around but personally I prefer not having a pistol IWB on one side and a extra mag IWB on the other. Others find it perfectly comfortable.

I agree. I'll be retreating the entire time. The only reason I started carrying a spare mag is because if I have to clear a jam I don't want to have to worry about either catching my mag or picking it up off the ground.

While off duty, this is what I carry.

Nylon IWB style Magazine Pouch, Single

It has a reversible clip, and can be worn IWB or OWB strong or support side.

I have a clip on mag carrier on weak side as stated not for extra ammo, but for malfunctions ;-) Although if the 16 rnd mag ran dry it would feel alot better to have the other on the side,Highly unlikely

I used to carry IWB. Haven't bought a new mag pouch since, but it was too uncomfortable so I quit carrying spare mags. I've thought about back left pocket carry though, but worry about lint.

When I do it is in a mag pouch on the opposite side of my gun, OWB.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I carry my extra mag OWB in a Gerber multi-tool pouch. No one gives it a 2nd glance.

I keep my spare mag in a cheap cell phone holder. I usually carry it in my left front pocket but I can clip it on or thread it through my belt. About $3 at a Sears bargain bin.
