    New (to me) 10mm

I recently purchased a Glock 29. I paid 450, with night sighs. It had a cracked guide rod assembly, but that was only a $20 fix. Being a subcompact I was concerned with recoil, but its not bad at all. I also picked up 500rds at a gun show for $150. I have now made this my EDC, and given my Glock 19 to my girlfriend for her to carry.

Anyway, thus far I am very impressed with this gun. And 10 rds of 10mm makes me very comfortable.

Though I must admit, that case in Arizona of the hiker and his 10mm 1911 (i think) makes me a little worried about how it looks to a jury. Maybe I will just say I was afraid of bears.......

500 rounds for $150....I'd say you've made a wise economical decision with that G29. How many juries could argue that point? Congrats on your new to you Glock!

I have been trying to decide between the 20 or the 29 I can't make up my mind. One part of me wants to carry it but the other part wants the full size to...I hate decisions like this.
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone

The 29 is fairly large for a subcompact. Its frame is thicker than the 26 or 27, and its a bit heavier. But you lose your pinky, they do sell the grip extensions if thats what your concerned about.

If you can carry a 30 in .45 ACP, you can carry the 29. They are the same size.

Congratulations! That is one fine gun.

Of course, since there are no pictures, it may not have actually happened.

I just picked up a new 29 short frame myself. That is an awesome deal on the ammo, I paid the same for 200 rounds of double tap, but I had to get them to hold me over until my brass order comes in.

The grip extensions really make a differance, probably ends up real close to the size of your 19.

Congrats on a Glock that makes proper 'ventilation' a breeze...(Pardon the pun.)
    Great ammo price, too.

I can't buy new brass cheaper than that.

I assume you are talking 10 mm. If so, order directly from starline. $78.95/500 $136/1000

Haha......Unfortunately the pictures will have to wait, I am on base, living in the barracks, so my gun is stored at a friends house. Don't get me started on the issue of me not being allowed to protect myself with a firearm.....Even though I am a grunt.

But I would like to keep my rank, so I comply.
