    Once you've gone Glock..........

    First I would like to thank y'all for your recent help with my firearm selection.

    I just got back from the range with my Glock 20 and 36. I am now a huge Glock fan; for the last 20 years I have used the 1911 platform, I don't think i care to go back. (oops did I start the 1911 debate)

    I love the simplicity of these handguns the Glocks remind me of the simplicity of a revolver with semi auto capabilities.

    The 20 shoots super accurate and the 36 is nice and small. While ill agree the 1911 is more attractive; I now think I like the basic look of my new hand cannons.

    I hope I haven't offended to many people but I have broad shoulders.

    Thanks all.....Let the harassment begin.

    The Glock isn't the most popular police and civilian carry handgun in the world for no reason. It is a model of efficiency and reliability, and is without a doubt one of the finest combat handguns ever developed. There are plenty of naysayers out there, to be sure, but their complaints are never about the function of the weapon. That, to me, says a lot.
    A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

    I personally wish Glock would make a new line of carry pistols;

    Single stack narrow wight and Glock reliability and feel in a narrow package.

    Glocks are probably the gold standard for carry guns, you will find folks that love and hate them.

    Once you go Glock...You realize that you should have listened to your gut and got the pistol that you actually liked.

    i undertand, I understand...I did the exact same thing in September. I went from Kimbers to Glocks. The Glock-36 is now my EDC...a great firearm.
    I still have my Kimbers, and they are fine weapons, but the simplicity and 'known' dependability of the Glock has captured my full attention.
    In just a few more weeks I'm going to a Glock Armorer class in Georgia...can't wait.

    nothing wrong with Glock..BUT that said they are a good gun in a big sea of good guns. I have a Glock 23 it works but id not get another because I dont like their grips. Plus since there are so many other good guns I hate to have more than one of the same..just no need or reason(for ME)..

    Glock 36 is a single stack 45.....sleek, light weight, potent, reliable, accurate and my EDC!
