Ruger LCP, Keltec P3AT, Micro Eagle????

I just bought a Bull Dog cell phone holster now which one to buy to go in it? I was going to buy a Keltec but the owner of my local gun shop says Ruger is the way to go. Let the suggestions begin.

I've got the Ruger LCP, and love it. In fact, we both do! Quite the little kick, but the dang thing is so thin, so light, and so reliable.
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.

I would say go with the Ruger or a Kahr P380. Both are very light and compact. Ive held the Micro eagle and to me it just feels like a brick in your pocket

Usually one gets the gun prior to the holster...are you getting one 'boned'?
Given your choices, I would pick the P-3AT only because I've had one for the past 7-8 years without any problems, ever. For a small pistol, the KT will do the job without breaking the bank, and KT has excellent service if you should ever have a problem.OMO

Had a P3AT, now have the LCP because I had a chance to score a good deal. Little more smoothness to the finish. If someone told me I had to trade in my LCP for the P3AT, I wouldn't even blink. Never one problem with the Kel Tec.

retsupt99, they had these holsters on sale at Cabela's for $14.99. I knew I was going to buy one of these firearms, so I thought why not. If I didn't like the holster I could always give it to a friend or use it as a teaching tool in my CWL class.

We have 2 LCP's. If nothing else, they have a manual slide lock, which the KT does not. Helps with cleaning, inspection, loading the first round, and range safety (locking the slide open to show clear). I looked at several KT pistols, but the poor fit/finish was a concern.

I paid $289 locally for my latest LCP, so the KT was no cheaper.

    Well... two more cents worth.

I would go with LCP. The LCP has a slide lock and locks open on the last fired round and it's machining is a bit better than Kel-Tec. My experience in dealing with the manufacturer of both has been 100%.

Expect however to have to do the fluff and buff on the LCP. Maybe the P3-AT too. The MDE is quiet a bit heavier than either of these and is in sort of a different catagory.

    Good luck!

The LCP does not lock open on the last, in my experience.

    Whatever you get, enjoy!

everything else is just to large.

This thread might have been better served as a poll. This way we could see the results without reading all the posts. Btw, we have 2 LCP's without any problems except you don't fire too many rounds at each range visit. This little pocket gun will chew up your hand in no time

Oops! I goofed! Cammo Girl is 100% correct. The LCP does have a slide lock but does not lock open on the last round. (I remember this now for the "dry fire" discussions.) I shoot mine so infrequently lately, my memory failed me. Which is about the norm these days..

Thank you for the correction! Good catch..
