If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."

Charter Arms rotate clockwise like Colt.
Because that is the way that they are made.
Heres a hint...
Do you know how you can tell which way the cylinder turns just by looking at it?
There is a notch where the cylinder catch lays to keep the cylinder aligned. That notch has a eliptical cut either under it or above it. Which ever way that eliptical notch is pointing, that is the way that the cylinder rotates.

Christianity and Self Defense from a Biblical Perspective
Being an old revolver head for 20+ years, I've loaded revolvers with alternating types of ammo (snake shot / HP every other or 3 in a row of one and then the other). You have to know which way it turns and what type round you are starting on (so when you pull the trigger and advance the cylinder you know what it will fire in the next rotation). At the golf course, my buddy saw me pull out my revolver and manually advance the cylinder one click before shooting a snake. He asked me why I did that and I showed him and explained how I loaded it (snake shot, HP, snake shot, HP), what I had it on (hammer on snake shot so the next round fired would be HP...I advanced it one click), and how I advanced it (not even looking at the gun, as I pulled it out I pulled the hammer back a tad and rotated it one click using thumb and middle finger of left hand). He was a die hard semi-auto only man and had no familiarity with revolvers whatsoever. He thought it was pretty neat and a unique versatile feature of a revolver. He gained a new appreciation for the old fashioned wheel gun after that.
