    P250c range report

I took my new Sig Sauer P250 9mm compact to the range for the first time this past Sunday. I have to say, I'm in love. 1 more trip with it to the range, and once I find a holster for it, it will be my new EDC and my XD is getting put on night stand duty. I had read many people complaining about the long trigger pull of the DAO. I really didn't notice it. Sig says trigger pull weight is right around 6lbs, and it feels as light as the trigger on my XD. YES, it is a longer pull, but it didn't bother me or slow me down at all.

Right out of the box I was able to hold combat accurate (size of my hand) groupings all the way out to 50ft. At that long of a distance the grouping was about 2/3 the size groupings I shoot with my XD, hence the EDC change. I did some rapid fire, and single hand shooting at 21 feet but I also like to put the target at the back of the range (50ft) for about half of my shots. I figure if I can hit him at 50 ft, I can hit him at 20ft

Another thing that I really like about this weapon is the factory night sights. even in a well lit situation like shooting at the range, the night sights are easier for me to get on target quickly with.

Now I need a holster.... and with the nickel slide, I'm going with leather this time. I like my MTAC for my XD, but I dont want kydex scratching the nickel slide on the Sig.

That looks pretty sweet with the nickel accents. You chose the C over the SC?

Great report, I have found Sigs to be the most accurate (for me) guns out there.

I was looking at one of those in the Sig 250 2 SUM deal this morning. That compact looks nice, how does in conceal?

I too have looked at the P250c's. I think I'll wait for it in .40 or .45.

    Thanks for sharing.

Because I haven't seen them in person I can't say they're available with 100% confidence , but their website says it's available in those calibers plus .357SIG: Products & Services

But your point brings a p250sc or c in .40 into my head for my next purchase. I hear nothing but good things about this firearm.

They are out there I got my 250 compact in the 40SW the other day. The shop also had them in 9mm and 357 sig. From what the shop owner told me (who is a Sig Dealer) is that any model any caliber 250 can be had, its just that some dealers don't carry them all. I sure love mine in the 40 SW, it is one ugly pistol though, but shoots great.

Congrats on the new Sig! Seems like the 9mm 250 is very reliable, and I have read many good reviews on it.

Great report. I agree that the P250 is very accurate. Mine is a .40 s&w and is a great shooter. I carry mine in a TT Gunleather OWB holster.
