    709 price jump?

It appears to me that, in just the last 2 weeks or so, the going price for a Taurus 709 Slim has jumped up almost 100.00, both on gunbroker and at local stores.

    Anyone else noticed this?

Is this just due to popularity, or has anyone heard an explanation?

Primary reason I like the PF9s... I would prefer a 709, but I dont want to pay $100 more for the same functionality to me

One of my friends just bought a new stainless model with 50 rounds of SD ammo, tax, tag, title (lol) for $399. He figured the value of the ammo and tax / call-in fee at about $40, so $360 price. I paid $369 plus tax and call-in for mine 6 months ago and it was still under $400 out the door.

I think they are hard to beat at that price. Great guns regardless, but a steal at $360-$370.

When I first saw them you could get em for about $300. The PF9s were about 270-290 in the same shop. Lately they've been closer to 360-400
