Hey guys anyone own a Kimber 45 and a Glock 30? Any pics of the guns together to visually compare grip size and dimension differences? Doesn't even have to be a Kimber any 1911 pistol will do.
I went with the g36. The grip is as slim as the 1911 but is longer front to back. When I was comparing the g36 with the g30 and the 30sf, I liked the 36 much better. I like slim grips of my Dan Wesson and the g36 had the slimmest of the 3. Now if you're looking at capacity with a somewhat slim grip, the 30sf would work...just not for me. I carry a extra mag if I need more then the 7 in the gun.
Most Glock Dealers will have the demos for the g30, g30sf and the g36. Fondle and rent if you can. See which feels better to you.
Anyways, heres a side shot of the Dan Wesson 1911, G36 and S&W M&P9c
