I was so excited to get my Crimson Trace grips in today for my Colt New Agent. Well, for about 2 minutes that is, that's how long it took me to realize I had forgotten to order full sized screws and bushings. DOOHHH!![]()
I do not understand,are you talking about lenth of grip screws?
I did not need to change the bushings to use full-length grip screws on my Baer TRS. If you have never changed grip screw bushings before, or have prior experience with staked bushings, it may not be the best thing to try to do yourself.
Brownells sells a driver made for removing/tightening grip screw bushings.
I don't have any full length screws, so I could not put the new grips on since I only have thin grip screws.
Thanks for the info on changing the bushings. I'll just plan on using the screws.
