Ah geeze... I might buy a pink gun...

So Gander Mountain is apparently clearing out their pink Taurus Millenniums. They have a .380 for $315. I also have a $50 gift card there that I haven't had the need to use yet.

I'd be killing two birds with one stone, the fiance wants to start shooting and she likes this one. I, on the other hand, would like something a bit smaller to carry this summer. As it's a carry gun that I conceal, I really could care less what color it is. It goes bang as well as the black Millennium I would imagine.

I'd sure catch hell at the range though.

As long as the ammo is not pink you'll be ok.

Academy has the pink Taurus Milleniums too, in 9mm and .380 ACP. I think it would make a nice Mother's Day gift.

That would be a good price on a Taurus Mil. 380.

How long does the sale last?

I have a pink 22 rifle for my daughter. She laughs when I shoot it. If I got a nice deal on a carry gun and it was pink, I would certainly take it.

My local gun shop owner tried to sell me a pink charter 38 snub when I was shopping for my 442. He said, "The baddest dude in the county should carry a pink gun. If he has the cahones to pull a pink gun, he won't think twice about shooting someone." I said, "I'm apparently not the baddst dude in the county...I'll take the black one." The guys in the shop all laughed. He said they've been using that line on guys for years and they've never gotten a guy to buy the pink gun yet. If a dude pulled a pink gun on me, I wouldn't mess with him. He's a bad, bad dude.

Hey it's going to be concealed anyways. And if you ever have to draw it for defense, who cares what color it is as long as it saves my life.

The only draw back would be if you had to show it to a LEO. You may get a little ribbing :)
My daughter gave me a pink shirt some time back and tells me, "Dad only a real man can wear pink". So I guess only a real man can pack a pink cw.

It would certainly help in the event of a self defense shooting... The prosecutor would have a hard time using the bad evil ugly gun type line

As a fellow member of DC forums I cannot stand by and watch you buy a Taurus no matter what color it is.

Just hold that money and keep adding to it until you can afford something else
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!

This area is really all that's holding me back. I've never dealt with or owned them, all I have shot was a 1911 from them. It sounds like they can be hit or miss in quality? I was planning on renting one at the range tonight or tomorrow.

    Edit: Loving the salmon idea.

If you ever had to pull it in SD you wouldn't even have to shoot...
