I have a Kimber Ultra CDP, series 1. When I first purchased it, the internal extractor would extract 5 out of 10 spent casings. I was pretty dissapointed after I had spent that much money on a gun. I took it out, and bent it a little. Over 1,000 rounds later I have not had one FTE. I love my Kimber, and I trust it with my life. Each gun is different, each has its own soul.

    Bud:
You think shooting weak handed would help? I'm curious what it could show, seems like weak handed would be easier to limp wrist but not sure what it could help - other than maybe proving it's a left handed gun.

Well no more tinkering with the Eclipse. After seeing the video Dennis called me and told me he can't explain why I am still having problems and said they would replace the gun. I told him I was weary of getting another Eclipse b/c it is the only 3" Kimber with a non-ramped bbl and he agreed to swap the Eclipse for a CDP. So as long as the new one works they have done right by me. Unfortunately after a lot of headaches but whats done is done. He would've given me another size gun as well but I wanted to stick with the Ultra since my Max Con V for 3" just shipped today :) Otherwise I probably would have went with a 4". I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Glad they finally agreed to replace it for you, guess the video helped out. Let us know how the new CDP works out.
