Commander bobtailed 1911 - go with .38 super or .40?
I have been looking for a bobtailed commander and have a friend who builds them (but until now has not sold them ;-)
He has two he is selling: both have caspian frame and slide, ed brown internals, good stuff.
One is a .38 super, one is .40sw.
I am looking for feedback (and I anticipate it will be opinion) as to which is better for a carry companion? I shoot .40 more especially due to cost, are there benefits to 38 super other than less muzzle rise?
Thanks for your input
