My Brand New Walther PPS 9mm

I just picked her up this morning. It came with a 7 rounder and I bought a 6 rounder spare mag. 9mm.

I can't wait to go shoot it. It feels so good in my hand.

It is very Glock Like. A little prettier though.

It is very slim. I am using the smaller backstrap but a larger one comes with it.

My First Walther. James Bond should use this one in the next movie.

Nice. I am interested in a PPS. Be sure to do a review. Which holster are you going with.

Came very close with one but opted for the P7 instead. The PPS was a perfect fit in my Thunderwear. BTW: I really like the 7-round mag for the all important pinky

Congratulations, I have been eyeballing one of these myself. I am sure you will appreciate the slim profile for CC.

Not exactly sure yet. I'm thinking MTAC or something from High Noon.

I have this pistol in 9mm and .40. The .40 is a safe queen because it is basically NIB. The 9mm on the other hand is my daily carry and it goes everywhere with me for the better part of two years now. Thousands of rounds later and it is still humming along like a champ. It never malfunctions and eats everything I feed it. You made a great choice. Congratulations.

BTW: My sights are all filled with lint. It's nice to know that they were that white once.

    Great purchase!

I debated a PPS but went with an XD9 instead. I like the 13+1 and it felt better in my hand.

Congratulations on your purchase. I recently went to a range near me and rented this pistol and shot it a lot! I did a quick review on it on one of my podcasts.

What I really like about it is the Glock like trigger. It's just a slim as my Kahr PM9, but larger. Not a big deal if I belt carry it. This gun isn't very easy to pocket carry, but the recoils is very light. I rented the 9mm version. The only negatives I could come up with is the lack of spare parts available. I've searched the internet for them and they seem hard to find. Lack of selection of good night sights too. These are important to me. That's why I didn't buy it, but it is a fine gun and you certainly will have a nice CCW firearm!

Give it a 1,000 round trigger job as soon as you can and shoot straight and shoot safe.

I bought my PPS/9mm about 9 months ago, I've put about 400 rounds through it with no problems. Kirkpatrick Leather made me a great holster. It is one of my favorite carry guns, especially when the weather is hot and you are concealing it with a "T" shirt.
