Being a part time preacher (not full time pastor) I can say this.

The more I deal with God, the less stock I put in 'coincidence'. And sometimes, God just likes to bless us; that's (part of) what He does.

    Congrats on the new Aquisition

I have one and I think you'll like it. I've shot both the Keltec and the Ruger, and I like this little Taurus much better. I like the lockback and it fits my hand better. The recoil is not bad. It does have a long trigger pull, but for a pocket gun, that is a good thing. Not real heavy and the reset is shallow for a nice second shot. Enjoy it.

Heres mine in my homemade pocket holster

I went and shot it yesterday. It functioned flawlessly! I only put about 18 Magtech FMJ through it and 6 Speer GDHP (defensive round of choice) through it. Whoever says these things don't kick much either haven't shot them or have iron hands! I shot this after letting my kids shoot their .22 for awhile and shooting my EDC through basic marksmanship, and 24 rounds was it for me!

That said, a couple of things:
    1. It cycled flawlessly with both mags
    2. It was very accurate at 7 yards, which is as far as I would need it.
    3. My trigger finger impacted the trigger guard due to muzzle flip after each shot.

I am very happy with this as an emergency defense weapon, as a BUG or pocket gun for when the belt holster isn't an option.

I have one also and I thought at first the *snap* was suprising, but now after shooting mine for about 200 problem free rounds it feels normal now. Enjoy your new gun and have fun with it. God Bless :)

Congrats, and thanks for the quick report. I've got the PT709 9mm and they look very similar. Small guns do kick, but the more you shoot it the more you get used to it. The 9mm version doesn't kick as much as other small 9s I've shot. I haven't seen one of the .380s in person yet. Looks great. Enjoy, and stay safe!!!

Great story. And how appropriate. Nice picture too!

Enjoy your new little deep concealment pistol.
