I saw the Ruger SP9C and thought it was a great CCW platform as it has a 10 round mag for concealment and a 17 round mag for dropping in should you need it. It won't replace my 1911 but I thought it was pretty cool. Way to go Ruger.

agreed I love mine so far..want to run another 50 through it to declare it "fit for carry" but if those go 100% I will be carrying it as my primary CC...well at least till I get that HK P7 someday :)
I own one, and it is a great CCW! The size, weight, and thinness make it a great gun for carry.

Ruger is hard to beat in my opinion, it should make for a great carry gun.

I ordered a Ruger SR-9 today. It should be in THis Tuesday. I wanted the full size one though, not the compact.I can't wait for it to come in.My trigger finger has'nt been this itchy since i waited on the Glock-29.

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.
If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.
What is a fair price for a SR9?

To be honest, I have a .40 and am thinking of the 9mm for the availability of ammo. Ruger just may be my choice. I had a Smith in the 1980's (yes I'm old) and got rid of it because of the lack of good 9mm ammo. That is far from a problem in today's word.
If I don't go with a Ruger it will be the new FNX model.
