Range Time with my Three New Glocks

Well, the range time was with my new G27 with additional 9mm and 357 SIG barrells. I sighted in my Crimson Trace at 30 ft with the 40 S&W barrell, and then I switched to the Lone Wolf 9mm barrel. The recoil was less, but the accuracy was comparable at 30 ft. I went to 40 feet, and the accuracy slightly decreased. I switched to the KKM G33 barrell (357 SIG), and the G27 was very accurate and smooth. This seems to be a great combination. I finished with the 40 barrel with a slightly increased recoil but the same accuracy.

The only drawback I see the the 357 SIG is the cost of ammo versus the 9mm or the 40 S&W. The 9mm range ammo can be purchased around here for about $11.00 for 50, and the 40 S&W can be purchased for about $13.00 for 50 rounds. Fifty rounds of 357 SIG cost $20.00.

Overall, I really like the 357 SIG in the G27. I would recommend it as another option for the G27 or G26. This was a great way to spend three hours on a Saturday.

Sounds like a Glock 'love-affair' to me...

    Nothing beats great range time.

Sounds like a great day at the range. I've got .40 and 9mm barrels for my G33 but I prefer to keep it in .357SIG mode also.
