Crimson Trace for Walther PPS
My wife and I have both recently acquired Walther PPS 9mm pistols for service as concealed carries, and I am presently unable to offer any useful commentary on this handgun as they are both still NIB. I would, however, like to enlist the aid of other PPS owners or prospective owners who would like to see a Crimson Trace product become available for this handgun -- for those who have not already done so, please go to the following web page and invest 30 seconds of your time to register your interest in this regard.

I did my part
I did my part. I sent an email requesting Crimson Trace make the Lightguard Laser for the PPS. They have a rail mount with a button that will fit, but this is just not the same. I have the Lightguard on two other handguns and they are excellent. They hold their zero and are an excellent training aid without firing a shot, you can practice draw and point.

I have the crimson trace on my M&P and if I had it to do over I would not purchase the crimson trace or any laser for that matter.
I find the red dot movement very distracting and I found myself bypassing it and using the regular sights. I shoot faster with confidence without it.
I can't imagine how shaky it would be under a high stress situation.
The unit is also very expensive.
One more point that really bothers me... when I put the gun in my hand the laser should come on. If I have my trigger finger running down the side of the trigger guard,as you should until ready to fire, my finger can block the laser so I don't know if the unit is working or not until I move my finger down on the trigger. Then I realize it's working. In a real world situation I think it could be a distraction instead of an asset.
I shoot faster and more accurate without it.
