No thanks, I'll stick with Glock. The mideast already get my gas money, my firearms money stays with Gaston.

you've got to admit though, a subcompact 9mm that holds 13 rounds and is less than an inch thick is rather impressive.....

besides, you know one of the glock designers designed the caracal as well, my friend :)

i'd like the subcompact one. 13 rounds of 9mm, and less than an inch thick sounds pretty good to me...

If the price is right, their subcompact has a lot going for it.

Seriously; like an earlier poster said, it is very reminiscent of the P7. Never a fan of the squeeze cocker, but really, really liked the bore axis.

Neat to see a simplified parts count, too.

I'm in. I heard from a little bird that actual cost will be in the $500+ range.

I don't know - the back of the frame looks a little goofy (and everybody knows looks are more important than function) - kind of sharp-edged? I wonder if that'd be likely to catch on a shirt or sweater?

I will buy one because it is designed and engineered by Bubits. If you have had the good fortune to shoot a Steyr M9A1 you will know what I am referring to. Bubits also was a Glock engineer before leaving for Steyr and now he has been contracted by Caracal. It has the ergos of a Walther PPS which is my current favorite with other elements that make it too intriguing to get glossed over. I hope they come in at a competitive pricing so I don't sour on them before I shoot it.
