Very nice. I have a Colt New Agent as well. It is on my short list to get it out of the safe, wipe the dust off, round off some of the sharp edges, and maybe install an XS Big Dot in the front of that gutter trough.

Your secret is safe with us.

We have two safes...the wife can only open the small one. The code for the second one is in the first one (in case I die earlier than her, the wife can have the gun sale) With the right grips, 1911's can look very much alike, Glocks already do...

That's quite a pair of 1911's there... It'll be hard to choose...

With all the negative comments on this forum I am putting off the Kimber until all the facts are in.

    range report

I shot both of these today as well as my glocks; here's the low down from my perspective.

Both excellent weapons are very similar.

Kimber shot tighter groups I believe this is because of the standard sights vs the Trench sight on the Agent.

The Agent pulls out of the holster faster because of the trench sight.

The Colt did fail to feed once in 50 rounds, and the slide locked back on the Kimber once in fifty.

I prefer the beaver tail safety of the Kimber over the Colt, the colt safety digs into my skin a little on my smart carry.

    Both conceal quite well

Overall I would give the kimber a slight edge but not by much; only because of the safety. Both of these guns are great and i would recommend them.
Oh by the way no miss fees on any of the Glocks.

I hope that one of these reliable Glocks you talk about was your 36. I love mine, and for some reason I 've read some bad "stuff" on this nice package that Glock has released!.
