Junk IMHO. They make good throwdown guns for gangbangers.

Some people like cheap stuff and there is no arguing with them.

Its a simple matter of ignorance. They just dont know any better.

Yeah i say the same thing, I think the term "Gun Snob" is what HP owners use for people who don't like HP's...

Brand-new FNP-9 at the range: BAM! JAM! DAMN! BAM! BAM! JAM! DAMN!
Hi-Point 9mm: BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! They are fun guns and made in Mansfield and Dayton, Ohio. Everybody ought to have one or two or even a few.

    CCW?
    You're kiddin right?

You might as well tape a loaded .45 barrel on to a 2x4 and use a hammer to set it off.

I don't carry one, but I do shoot mine couple times a year and do use it as a camp gun, feeds anyting I put in it including snake shot. Have other 9mms but if one might get wet, nasty muddy and I am not in a war I use the High Point... I have never had a jam...

High Points...they are what they are & you get what you pay for. I wouldn't hesitate buying one if that was all I could afford however...better than rocks & pointy sticks! (at least by a little)

I actually asked two obvious gangbangers about hi-points at a Dallas gun show

    Me: These any good?
GB: Ask him (pointing to his pal), he shoots his ALL THE TIME!

I didn't get the impression he was referring to the local IDPA match.

The pistols dont seem to be much good, but the carbines can be fun to shoot.
As for CC, they are very big, and very heavy for their given caliber, and don't seem to be reliable enough.
