Sold my S&W 908 and bought...

I like to get the most out of my purchases and the 908 just wasnt useful to me anymore. It was a great gun and reliable to boot but since I bought my pt145 for EDC and have a PT709 for deep concealment the 908 just didn't have a role. There was some other gear I had been wanting so I decided to sell it. Ended up getting 380.00 out of it (Slight loss but thats to be expected) but I took the money and bought...

    - Gerber Cruical Tool for EDC pocket carry
    - Maxpedition Luanda Gear Slinger for a man purse :)
    - Gerber Suspension Butterfly multi tool for the new EDC bag
    - Adventure Medical Kits Ultralight .7 for the new EDC bag
    - New Digital Camera to replace the one I lost in the divorce lol
    - 2 more mags for my PT145 for the new EDC bag

And last but most important I have enough left over to take my previously 100 percent gun hating mother to the firing range tomorrow to practice with her new Ruger® SP101® Double-Action Revolver

I told her I would pay for the range fee's and ammo for her first outing since I'm so proud of her :)

All in all not a bad trade. Parting with a quality firearm is often times tough but this time it was more then worth it.

Good for you taking mom to the range and good for her turning herself around.

Just got back from the range and had a blast. And better yet my mom bought a Bersa Thunder .380 for herself. For under 300.00 that thing is a GREAT pistol. We had no jams or malfunctions and its a bloody tack driver.
