Like my P2000 (non SK) V3 very much overall, but dislike its (long pull, long reset, 12lb first shot) trigger. Its certainly safe though, and is reliable as the day is long.

    Good luck with the SK!

I love yor new piece!!!!! Congrats!!!!

That's the gun I was initially looking for when I decided to buy a 40 cal. They must be very popular, because I never could find one in my local shops and ended up buying a XD40sc. I like the XD, but the HKP2000sk has everything I wanted. If I ever do find one, I may just pick it up anyway.

    Range Report Please!!!!

It was easy to get. I called my friend on weds night and he had it in his hands for me today. He said they had 2 of them where everhe sourced this one. I know it was from somewhere local since he got it so fast.

I shot one of these before and it was great. a little snappy on the recoil which i think is pretty typical of a .40 caliber subcompact but it shoots comfortably and accurately. I personally like the DA/sa capability which i don't see often on the compact guns. the one thing i do dislike is the magizine release is a but stiff and takes some getting used to. On my fullsize .45 the release is large and smooth as butter so i guess i am a little spoiled from that.

The best carry gun I've ever come across. I love my SK. It's been my CCW for about four years now. One of the few designs that have no flaws or weakness IMHO. Enjoy your new HK.

BTW...do the P30 mags fit the SK, or are they different from the P2000 and USPc mags?
