I just paid $339 + tax for mine at Cabela's, but for that price, I got the LCP, an additional magazine, two gun rugs and a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster...my local Gander Mountain had them for $399, with the additional mag and one gun rug...I think I did pretty well at Cabela's!

If willing to consider auctions, GunBroker.com has a fair number of the LCP's go for $250-280 or so ... and many of those are NIB or LNIB.

GunBroker: Ruger LCP under $299 within last 90 days.

LCP is a good choice. As many have already said, 380 ammo is becoming much easier to find. In SC, try .380 Auto Ammunition and if you are in/near Darlington, SC, head to Southland Gun, they have plenty in stock.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I bought an LCP for around the $300 mark a little while ago. I originaly bought a P-3AT, but I could not get more than a few rounds through it before it needed warranty work. I swapped it for an LCP and have been happy ever scince.

Some of these stores like Cabelas will have the .380 ammo marked out of stock on thier websites, but have it on thier store shelves. I got two boxes of speer gold dot, two boxes of hornady cd, and two boxes of Winchester white box out of a cabelas store.

My local sporting goods store had 5 LCP's in stock today. They were selling for $279. The store had a bunch of 380 ammo too. I was surprised.

Yep...just keep looking. The right one at the right price will come along. Have you ever tried the gun shows? Around here in Texas they go from $299-315 at the gun shows.

My wife keeps taking my Kel-Tec P3AT. Our 22 anniversary was yesterday so for her gift I told her I would buy her any gun she wanted.

So off we went to the gun show today, She was leaning to the LCR, but one look at the LCP in Raspberry, and she had to have it..

So that is what we came away with. Paid $325+tax. The black ones were $300
