LCPs are still "Hot"
Been considering a .380 for sometime now. Looked locally at all the gun dealers. LCPs are getting easier to find nowdays but locally they will cost you $350.00-$400. Not paying that for a mousegun. The P3ATs arent much cheaper. One shop sales the LCP for $279.00 but has a waiting list. Buds has been out of stock until yesterday morning they listed some for sale for $299. I grab one and put it in my cart and procedded to check out. When I hit the order button "Sorry- LCPs now out of stock" popped up.
They sold them all in no time. Maybe I dont need a .380 after all.

The little LCP, 3AT guns are tempting as back up gun - maybe one day...
Next week, however, I pick up an SP101. :)

some stores still have the price high on the ruger. if it was me i would go with the p3at. you can find them at a better price. not much different between the two guns, except the price.

Here in Piedmont of NC I was able to get an LCP for $280 and have seen them at a local gun shop for $315 with plenty in stock.

Even if you do find a LCP or a P3AT goodluck finding anything to feed it. I have a a brother in law who bought one in the fall he has yet to shoot it. I asked why he says he hasnt been able to find ammo. I have seen it but its outragous when you do. Im sure things will plane out soon.

My local gun store keeps ammo for every gun they have so if you buy one you can go shoot it.

Like everyone else I have trouble finding ammo for 380 also.
I would have thought the market would have corrected itself by now.
I know 380 was not very popular with shooters for many years, but the CC movement has been going on for a while, and 380 is somewhat the king of CC.
Maybe the ammo companies will wise up and start meeting demand.

Local gun store here selling the LCP for $339.00. They are hot, because the price is rising.

Have you considered finding a FFL that might work out of their home in your area? Usually they can get prices better because they don't have to pay overhead such as rent, insurance, and employees.

LCP's are definitely priced well in CT. You can buy a black LCP for $269 and a raspberry LCP for $249. I just bought a hard chrome LCP for $315 about 2 weeks ago.
