Should I Sell My Sig 239 .40 for Glock 27?
I now live in the humid, polluted city of Houston Tx and want a finish that is durable to take 30 gallons of sweat per day. I like the Sig, but size, finish, and capacity are issues. Should I sell the Sig and buy a 27? HELP!!! ps. I also own a Glock 23 and 26 (I know, so why the 27? Why not!)

It seems to me that you regret buying the Sig and that you need some justification to by the G27. Based on this, I voted to sell the Sig. But, if I were in your shoes, I would probably keep it and carry one of the Glocks that you already own.

I do regret buying the Sig. It is a beautiful gun, but not very state of the art regarding size and capacity.

Personally I'd keep the Sig. Of course I'll admit, I'm not a Glock fan.

If you have a G27 I'm sure he would trade you. Texarkana isn't too far from Houston.

Unless you are changing calibers or going ALL Glock
forever theres little real advantage and you lose a few bucks.

How well do you shoot the 239? If you find yourself struggling to shoot it as well as the others, maybe a swap is a good idea. If you shoot it as good or better than your other pistols, I'd keep it and pack the G26 when you need a stubbier gun. (did I just say that?
) That's coming from a Glock fan in general and a big G27 admirer.

Sell the Sig, get the Glock!

I own both and really like my Glock 27, but I'd never sell my 239. The Sig is just a better manufactured gun hands down. It is larger and heavier but it is the top of the line handgun in my opinion. I like my Glock . . . I love my Sig.

I say neither get a officer size 1911 :). I own a Glock 27 but thinking of maybe selling/trading to a 1911 or a single stack 45 such as the G36.
I did vote for the G27 though. I've never owned a Sig. I wouldn't mind owning one either their quality is up there.

I do not sell any of my guns unless I am very disappointed with them. I made that mistake before and it did not take too long time before I regretted doing it. Even less should I sell a SIG to buy a Glock. Keep the SIG and get the Glock if you consider that you need it; however, it sounds to me like you already have decided that selling the SIG is the right think to do. At the end, the only important is that you are happy.

I'll never sell my .40 P239. I live in hot, humid, sweaty South Florida.

Keep the SIG.
How about getting it refinished?
