    New purchase HK45

Well after much deliberation I finally chose the HK45 over the FNP45. I really liked the feel of the HK over the FN, I am fairly big with extra large mitts and both guns felt great but I liked the HK more, a big part of my decision was also based on reviews from forums like this one. Basiclly the FN had too many FTF reports and people talking about selling them etc. While I found quite the opposite when it came to the HK, people really liked the HK and I must say their guns do have a great reputation. Anyway I know they are both great guns, I am happy with my purchase. I will report more after I actually shoot the gun.

I think you made a great choice. HKs are great guns. Congratulations.

Congrats on the new firearm...one that makes BIG holes, too!

Hope you like yours as much as I like mine. Just a great pistol overall. Accurate and boringly reliable.

Really became a fan of one in the shop but couldn't spend that much money.

I am starting to ponder selling my last 1911 off to get one though. Can't believe I even said that. But with high-cap XDs and this I don't think I would go wrong.
