Purchasing a new G26 in Atlanta
I live in NW Georgia and have my CWP. I am curious about the Glock facilities in Atlanta. Can I go directly to the plant and purchase a handgun or do I have to go to one of there dealers. I have read other threads about returning your gun for service but haven't seen anything about buying.
Thanks

You'll have to go to a dealer; Glock doesn't sell directly to the public.

A 26 won't be hard to find in any shop. Great choice, the 26 is a great CCW. It is easy to conceal and shoots like a larger handgun. Carry a spare 19 or 17 mag and you're good to go.
Good luck!

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
Still can't believe what happened on 11/06/12! Disgusted and disappointed!

Go to Ed's Pawn in Stockbridge Ga.
Purchase your G26 through the GSSF program there and save a bunch of money.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

the GSSF coupon is different now. after you pay for the GSSF membership, you're only saving about $35 off the price of the gun.
the coupon no longer gets you the LE price.

I second the motion on going to Ed's for your purchase. They have long been considered one of the best Glock dealers in the south-east. They will do you right trust me.

Weagle on the GON forum is the sale's manager at Ed's in Stockbridge, Ga.
He posts the new GSSF prices. I lucked out and got my G27 at $398 + GSSF fee+ sales tax last year.
You are still getting out of the door under $500 with a brand new Glock. In this day and age a few saved bucks go a long way.

I Third the motion
I bought a LE G23 from Ed's last month for $398 before tax with my military orders getting me the LE discount. Great dealer...

Was up in Smyrna about 3 weeks ago for some TLC for my G19 and G26. Great folks, excellent service....but I don't think you can purchase a weapon directly from them at the facility. Give them a call. I'm interested to see what the answer is. Good Luck!

I have been carrying a G26. I boought the Mag Sleeve from GlockStore.com and carry it with a G19 Mag. It gives me a 16 round Pistol with a full size grip. If I need a smaller gun I just slip in the 10 round mag and I have it.
