How many are returning? How many are returning vs. #s sold? I'd be interested to know?

I suggest the LCP. It is so small you can carry it at most anytime and hardly notice that it is there. It is the gun you can carry with almost any clothes.

If you are considering the LCP, have you looked into the TCP?

I have a TCP & a 709....I only carry the TCP at home due to its small size, the 709 has caused me many problems & I would not rely on it as a carry gun.

    ....just my .02

just my opinion 709 and the LCP totally two different guns for two different purpose. Depending on what you want or use it for.

I have an LCP and love it.
I like my XD9sc better then the 709 .. i know that my xdc is bigger but i like it better.

Just goes to show you, ask different people & you will get different answers....

I don't "carry" either one, my EDC is a G27 (normally).....

I'm going to take a guess and say 10-15%, maybe a touch higher. I've seen typical Taurus quality control issues with them, pieces actually breaking off the polymer a lot of mag problems FTF issues, sights falling off; stuff like that.

Its really a shame, it could be a neat little gun. Ergonomics are pretty good for a micro.

709 Slim..I almost got that till I saw they were coming out with the Ruger SR9 compact and got that instead..the slim would have been my choice though if I was worried about smaller/slimmer.

    Whew..!

I'm glad I'm in the 85-90% group of flawless functioning 709 Slims.

Well, this according to your data, of course.

I freely admit that my number is a guess based on my personal observations. I haven't really paid much attention other than to notice their are an awful lot of 709's being shipped out to Taurus. I've never counted or looked through the books to get a hard number.

We do sell a lot of them, maybe a dozen a week. People like 'em.
