Exclamation OK.. Got my Primary gun picked, now what do you suggest for a secondary CCW?

So I have settled on getting a Springfield Armory XDm 9mm Bi-Tone as my PRIMARY CCW.

I am now shopping for a Secondary CCW (smaller in size) to complete my handgun purchases. (for a while anyways)

Now the particulars... I was considering the new S&W Bodyguard Series 380 Pistol w/laser... but I just cant STAND not having my pinky finger on the grip! I think with these guns, there is no room on the grip due to size for my pinky finger, based on what I have seen so far around the net.

So here is my particulars, please suggest what you guys feel are good secondary CCW's.

    1. 380 or 9mm (doesn't matter)
    2. Must have the ability to grip all 3 fingers (gotta get that pinky on there!) I prefer WITHOUT the use of a MAG EXTENDER.
    3. I want the ability to have a laser mounted on this gun, the less bulky laser/gun combo the better. (thats why I was considering the S&W Bodyguard series, all integrated in one, nice & slim form factor)
    4. Gotta have a IWB Holster to carry it in. (who makes these WITH room for a Laser option?)

Thanks for the Suggestions in advance!

Go w/ an XD sub compact, that way you can use the higher capacity magazines from your primary if need be.

That new S&W Bodyguard .380 looks like a winner to me...I'd reconsider and just go with the mag extension. You might also give some serious thought to the S&W Bodyguard .38 revolver. It too has a built-in laser, plus it looks as though the grip accommodates pinkies...

I've carried a j-frame as a secondary for the last 10 years and could never hit anything....recently acquired a PM9 and the groups are much better, higher round count, and a smaller gun.

I may be selling my j frame!

OK... done did it! (just got back from my local gun shop)

I bought a brand new Walther PK380 as my secondary!

All fingers fit on the grip, thin form factor, and has an optional integrated laser... exactly what I wanted!

NOW THE PROBLEM is... Finding a holster that will fit it WITH the laser on it!!! That might be the real challenge!

So does anyone know where to find one?

    You beat me to it.

This is one thing that I thought was strange about the XDm line. Magazine compatibility would have been a nice touch and a selling point for many. One more reason I love my Glocks.
