    Question Paddle Holsters

I was looking at a Fobus paddle holster for my p-11. When you wear a paddle holster does the paddle go in your pants or does it go between the outside of the pants and the belt? I wonder because some of the paddle holsters I have seen had raised pieces that looked like they were made to go under the belt and keep the whole rig from coming out on the draw.

    Thank you.

I have a paddle holster for my spare mag and when I wear that I put the paddle inside my pants. The raised pieces still catch my belt through the pants and keep it in place when drawing.

Inside the pants. I have a fobus for my sigma 40 and it works great. I don't much care for the mag paddle holster though.

Fobus are made for on the belt , but as noted, can be wore inside of pants on
certain guns, But if its a TIGHT fit the gun will stay in holster when drawn. ; )

I use this paddle holster from Fist... FIST, INC.
The paddle goes inside the pants...it will NOT pull out, and is very comfortable. It does hold my Glock-36 tightly against the body.

That Fist holster is way to nice for something like my P-11. I used to have a link to another holster like the Fist leather paddle but it was about half the cost. Just something that I can slap on to go to the mailbox.

Inside the pants. The actual paddle part of it has a thin "rubber" coating, thus keeping it planted firmly against the inside of your pants. If you just hang it over the belt it's not nearly as sturdy in my opinion.

Inside the pants...and as a matter of fact it is one of my pet peeves when people wear it between the belt.

I just got this..... Outside Waistband Holsters - products new home - Paddle Holster ...in the mail a month ago. I LOVE it so much more than my Fobus. Better retention and quality.

I ordered mine with the 'FBI' cant (15 degree forward angle). I needed a 'quick on/off' holster and this holster works wonderfully!

Thank you for the link. That may be just the ticket. If you have any pictures of the holster at different angles could you post them?
