    Glock Sport/Combat Holster

I was at a training seminar last week with several other LEOs and military personnel. Whenever I go to these types of classes I like to check out how other depts carry off-duty. Generally everyone open carrys in an envirement like this with their shileds on their belts. Anyway, I happen to see an LEO with a Glock sport/combat holster. It looked like it held the weapon close to his body.

So I went home and for a goof I ordered one for $17 on e-bay. I received it today. I cut out the little tabs to fit a 1.75" belt and put it on. Man, this thing is comfortable. The retention and presentation are awesome. The reason I never bought one in the past is because I read that it was ambidextrous and the area before the slots looked like they wouldn't flex, resulting in discomfort. On the contrary they flex quite well so that the holster can mold to your body, yet the holster is firm enough to retain the weapon well.

I am totally impressed that a $17 holster can perfrom so well and be comfortable. Thumbs up Glock on a great, inexpensive product.

That is the one. Sorry, I should have posted a link. I figured that anyone who has a Glock has seen them before. It holds my 23 and 27 very well.

Do you put the belt over the holster or under it?

It looks like the holster included (or when they used to include one) when you buy an XD pistol.

I put the belt under the holster. I have heard of folks wearing the belt over the holster like a modified IWB. I just haven't tried it.

Hmmm, I'd forgotten that Glock even made these. I think I need to try one if they're that inexpensive.

I got a holster with my XD and it is a piece of junk. I wish it came with something like this.

I have been carrying my G-27 in one for awhile now. I did a lot of research and figured at $15 what could it hurt to try. I love it!!! I have holsters that cost a lot more and use this for my EDC.
