    Kel-Tec P11 concealed carry

I'm new to the concealed carry game and have some questions. I want to carry my P11 in the pockets of cargo shorts/pants. I'm wondering if a pocket holster is what is recommended. I know this might be a dumb question but the reason that I ask is when I think of a "pocket" I think of a pocket in a pair of jeans or pants. I realize there's a lot more open space in a cargo pocket. Is this my best bet? Also, what holsters do you recommend for the P11.

    Thanks in advance.

I prefer IWB carry instead of pocket carry except for my S&W 642.
Cargo shorts/pants do help with pocket carry because of the extra room so make sure to pick up a good pocket holster.
But for IWB with a P-11, I'd consider a Don Hume Clip on M715.

I have a P11 and I have the clip for it, and also bought a desantis pocket holster which works with cargo pants, but this pistol is too big to pocket carry in jeans.

The one in the middle looks most like mine, it s the nemisis, I believe model #e- 1 or f -1

When I had the P11, I used the uncle mikes number 3 pocket holster.

I have carried a Kel Tec PF9 in a Uncle Mikes #4 pocket holster, and was very happy with it.

I never liked this gun for pocket carry. Not all my pants could even fit it and down low in a cargo pocket was too much weight swinging around. Disapears in a Comp-Tac IWB though.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm going to look into a IWB holster as well but being on limited funds, I'm going to have to build my collection one holster at a time. I figured I'd use the pocket more than others so I decided to start there. I'll be checking on all of the holsters you mentioned.

As stated above, Uncle Mike's #4.

Also, the Galco horsehide pocket holster for the Walther PPK works for some larger pockets. Heck, that pocket holster is great for slipping in the top of a western boot, too.

If you are going to carry in a cargo pocket rather than a regular front pocket, the methods used by most holster makers to keep the holster from coming out with the gun may not work well. The FIST kydex pocket holster has a thumb push so you can push the holster away as you draw.

I believe I have a Minimal Clip and Quick Clip in stock for the P11. It was one of my first carry guns and one I still own and carry.

am picking up a p11 tomorrow and did a search here for info on carry options. I lean towards iwb crossdraw on my left side, are any of the iwb holsters better than the other for this type carry?

Don Hume makes an IWB holster that works well for me, although I wear it strong side
