The Ultimate BBQ Stingray 1911 holster

Ok, here it is in Fire Engine Red complete with magazine holster. I was going to trim it back to thin out the body line but had a tough time (psychologically) cutting off the beautiful hide! While I believe it is totally functional, it is a bit flashy. I know one thing, I have NEVER EVER seen one like it. Now, weather someone would ever buy it and at what price I have no idea! But it was fun to make and I have a bunch of other colors left to come. I hope you guys and gals enjoy it too.

I like the work, and the red color.

Good looking set up, I especially like the white offset in the center of the gun holster.

Too bad you probably bought the skin by itself, sting ray is good eating!

I would love that holster for open carry if I ever had the opportunity to open carry. being that I live in the NE I don't think it will happen any time soon.

Hey on guys buying a holster like that(and I say this seriously despite the fact that it might sound a little jokey), what about firemen? I'm just saying because of the color you might appeal to that market.

On the holster great job, nice looking rig. To be completely honest it makes me not want to try a stingray holster though because I can see every time someone posts one how much of a pain in the butt that hide looks like it would be to work:)

    Love the holster

Luke, you are kind to say that. I have seen your work and there is nothing you can't make! You are the master. Truthfully, stitching and punching and finishing the belt loops are the only tricky parts to making one of these. I am going to change my shape slightly and have the back side loops lower and closer to the trigger guard. Just an observation on better functionality.
