Best Horizontal Mag Pouch for 1911

Im looking for a nice horizontal OWB mag pouch for a 1911 mag. As long as it is close to my belt, and tight, I am not too picky. I would also like to get one for an HK45 mag, but those are hard to find. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

That looks nice. Does the mag stay in there nice and tight? Looks pretty low profile, too. Any other nice designs?

I hate skinny guys who can appendex carry..., but if I did carry that way, at least my gun wouldn't get wet in the rain.

Note: tmoore912, you do carry that well.

See the screw head on the bottom of the mag holder, you can tighten it as much as you want to hold the mag in place. Works well.

    Please don't hate me....................

My guns don't get wet either, because my cover garments shield them.

Looks nice. Little pricey, but Id go for it. Id like to get one for an HK45 mag as well, but they do not make them for HK mags. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Just an observation, but can you have the mag facing forward? Just seems awkward to have to pull it back to get it out. OMHO

Dale will make them any way you want them. He makes them bullets up and pull backward for the efficentcy of the draw. When I grab it with my hand going over the top of the mag and my index finger is already lined up on the spine of the mag to help guide it to the magwell. Almost no twisting of the wrist to get the mag to the magwell. Your way, you would have to rotate your wrist to get the mag out or reposition the mag in your hand once you drew it out of the pouch which could be an easy way to drop it or mishandle it and miss your reload.
