I recently stumbled across this website: Adams Holster. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Seems like a great product, and the prices are the best i've seen for hand made custom leather holsters. Thank you for your opinions.

Appears to be real nice, neat leather work.
Holsters look good, for the price they are not bad.![]()
I am waiting on an order. The video impressed my wife and I so she allowed me to order one. I have heard nothing bad about his work from the several forums I read.
I have one of his holsters....its the most comfortable holster for my 1911.
I highly recommend one and Luke is a great guy!
(The one I have is in his photo gallery, Texas holster w/loops for 1911.)

Thanks for the compliments I appreciate it:) There aren't a huge number of guys on here with my gear since I've only been really selling it with the website and whatnot beyond local gun shows and things of the sort the last few months. I've been making gear quite a bit longer though.
Either way most of that info is on the website and I'm sure there are at least a few more guys carrying in my holsters around we shall see if they see this thread:)
Otherwise take a look at the forum I link on my main page there is a section there for my holsters and a bunch of guys who are carrying my gear that you can ask questions:)
Thanks again guys!
Luke

I like the Adams family of holsters.
In the photos, the craftsmanship appears impeccable. The leather looks like it's hand picked. Some of the designs are very unique and the pricing and ETA is fantastic.
I think Mr. Luke is about to get very busy..!!![]()
What we've got here is failure to communicate.
I ordered a mag holster from him and I haven't received it yet but he sent me a picture of it, it looks fantastic.

They look fine to me. I like the mag pouch design. Looks like he is taking the time to bone these by hand.
i read on his web site that he does everything by hand... im excited to get mine in a few weeks

Yep you are correct pretty much everything I make is wet molded to the actual magazine or gun depending on the item. I pick up dummy guns from Duncan's in Michigan and Ring's in Florida to use in place of the actual guns in most cases, same goes for mags. Though I will occasionally pick up a real gun if it's on my want list to use also:)
Usually though for boning I use either one of my antlers that I've made up for boning in conjunction with a bone folder also but it really depends on the rig. I try to get the leather to get good and tight then work the rig until it draws the way you want it to:)
Thanks again for all the compliments guys makes the hard work worthwhile when guys appreciate it;)
