Holster Export to Switzerland

Hello,

I am a gun owner form Switzerland and a user (only as a reader) of this gun-board. I follow the discussion here with great pleasure and interest.

Currently I have a particular question concerning holsters for CZ 75 produced by High-Noon-Holster. I consider High Noon Holster as a suitable option for my gun. Unfortunately the High-Noon-Holster Web-Shop does using the so called AVS-System (Address Verfication System), which is not supported by Swiss credit card companies. Thereforce I cannot order any holster direct from Hig Noon Holster because of my Swiss credit card. But my card is valid for sure!

As shipping method I would suggest American Postal Service, if we are in agreement.

Furthermore every private import with a value over 100 Swiss Francs is charged with heavy import taxes. The only way to avoid import taxes is do declare the parcel as a present...

Now, I have the following question:
Does anybody know another gun-shop who would export High-Noon-Holster into Switzerland? I would be very grateful for any tips, also from other holster producers.

My co-worker/friend (he is Swiss) is home right now in Bremgarten, he will return in 2 weeks, I could ask him if he knows any possible solution to your problem.

Maybe if you call Highnoon, they may help you also.

Is the holster for the gun range, or to carry? I know my friends father can carry. If you don't mind me asking?

Delivery time is not so important. I have the intention to get 1 High Noon Holster, Down Under W/Clip, Black, Right Hand, CZ 75 SP-01
9mm, 4.7".

I guess CZ 75 holster for this gun type are rare, but this holster maker provide a solution.

I prefer the Swiss made Brügger&Thomet TP9

Concerning carrying a gun in public in Switzerland, I can only say that it is difficult to get a ccw permit.

If you don't (can't) carry in public, why inside-the-waist? I feel outside-the waist would serve you better.

Each holster in the right place, at the right time ist my motto. I feel comforable with both, the IWB and the OWB. Belt holster or shoulder holster are easily available through gun or web-shops. But IWB for CZ 75 are rare. I belive that the United States has the most developed market concerning IWB, because of ccw laws.

I tried to get the requested holster at amazon.com or via nextag.com, but in vain it isn't available.

Well if you can wait a week and a half, my friend will be back.

Maybe someone on this forum that makes holsters may help. There are other forums that holster-makers belong to that could help.

Pleased to hear that this holster brand is clear for export to Switzerland. I find it would be a pity to conceal such such a fancy holster, so I have ordered an OWB.
