Thumbs up Well I done did it! ...I splurged on a "Gunbelt"

After fartin' around with a "normal" leather belt for a month or so...
    I bucked-up a bought a Beltman

My old "thick" leather belt turned into a wet noodle after a month of OWB CC with a high-rise Desantis holster.

Looks like I will have a "quality" gunbelt soon to perch my Walther & holster on!

Beltmans are great. I like Wilderness belts also for the less dressy attire.

yeah it makes MUCH more difference in the way you wear it IWB OWB and even holster ride height.

People still argue with me about this but I have a Wilderness instructor I used to have a thick heavy duty belt but not a specific "gun" belt... for my IWB carry of a smaller lighter gun(Ruger SR9c and before that a Glock 23) I honestly see almost ZERO difference..but thats with a low ride(just enough of the grip above waistline to get a decent grip) between my old heavy duty leather and the Wilderness...but IMO thats because with a IWB(Kydex) holster all your really doing is trapping the holster between the belt and the body...your not really supporting much..

but when I OWB carried at the range there is a big difference between the 2 it tended to sag my heavy duty regular belt and the Wilderness did fine

So my back to back side by side conclusion was for a lighter weight gun(Polymer or smaller gun size..) for IWB carry..not a big difference between the heavy duty belt and the Wilderness 5 stitch..for OWB carry BIG difference. Honestly sometimes I still use the heavy duty belt for IWB carry if its close at hand..because there is just not any perceivable difference in the 2 for IWB...

Thanks for posting, I'm still using my regular belt, no problem so far, but I might ask Santa for a gun belt!

Owning a good gunbelt makes all the difference in the world. I own a beltman and a wilderness. I even like wearing them on the rare occasion when I am not carrying. Way to go.

Much as I hate to say it, looking at the belts is as nothing compared to wearing them. I have two Beltman belts, and I wear them all the time, holster or no. They don't just make it easier to carry, they make pants fit better, too!

Oh, for all those other things mistakenly known as 'belts' on which I have wasted money throughout my life...

A good firearm is important, and a quality holster is unbeatable, but it's a good leather belt makes the first two items work well.
