Gun Belt Recommendations
I finally received my SC permit last Friday. After walking around with my Walther PPS .40 for a few hours I realized that my belts would not be up to the task of supporting my pistol.
Does anybody have any recommendations on a casual gun belt that won't break the bank? I would prefer any that are 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" in width. Thanks for your input.

I bought 2 511 leather GBs for $5 each (closeout). They were XL (40"-42") and I needed a L (36"-38") so I took them to a leather shop and had them shortened 4" for $10 each.

Total value as I now have 2 $15 double thick reinforced GBs for $30...and they perform just great.
I will use these until my TT GB comes in.

If you want cheap try LA police gear. They've had sales where you buy a pair of pants and get a free 1.5 inch belt. Might not be as nice as a Beltman but you can't beat the price. The belt isn't bad. I use it regularly. I like the pants also.

I might have to check out that crossbreed belt. Personally I like the plain design.

Ive found Bianchi gun belts to be very good and reasonably priced. Also every CCW holder should have a Wilderness belt. They are great. Get a five stitch Instructor belt for about $40.00.

The Beltman can't be beaqt for quality. I have one in black and brown. Not the cheapest but top notch. Don't go cheap on carry rig equipment.

Check out the forum sponsors first. I just picked up a High Noon belt. It carries the weight of a heavier pistol really well.

The Crossbreed belt is very ordinary looking, doesn't scream gun owner, the logo is stamped on the inside. The belt is 1/4" thick and 1 1/2" wide. Very well made and holds my GLOCK 19 in its Crossbreed Supertuck all day damn near every day.
