    Hume JIT

I have and have attempted to draw from and Hume JIT made for a Kahr MK9. Does anyone else experience the front sight "hanging up" on the inside of the holster? If I draw straight up no problem, but if I cant the draw a little to the back, I am jammed. I have written to Hume with no results.

I don't have that Gun but do have this holster for a Xd which also fits glock and Hk and even Sig's and yes they all have the same problem so i no longer carry this holster.

Depending on the style of the front sight in combination with the gun muzzle protruding through the bottom of the holster....I can see how drawing the firearm at certain angles from the JIT would hang the draw.

I have two of them and really like them though I do not own your gun. I have one for a Glock 17 and one for a Taurus PT945. The only problem I had with them is that I really had to yank hard to draw my weapon because the leather was so stiff. I solved this problem by putting my weapons away in the holster.

I bought one for a S&W M66. Same as you, the front site would hang and drag leather. Worse still is that bits of leather would get hung around the red insert in the site and I'd be trying to site in on the target with bits of crap hanging there.

When I traded that gun in on my current SA Mil-Spec I threw in the holster for free. I'll never buy another one, I'd carry Mexican first.

Gentelmen: Thanks so much for your input. Now I know I am not "confused" about the hang up issue. wj

I have 3 of them and no problems whatsoever. My Taurus 85, Taurus Millinium, and XD all like them very much.
