Minituck for PPS with Pictures - quick review

    Hi All,

I got my minituck in the mail yesterday for my PPS. I wanted to post a few quick photos for anyone interested in this for their gun. I did no adjustments, just threw it on. I am running late for some appointments and just wanted to give anyone interested a quick look-see. It is the horsehide, not leather, live in Florida and thought it would be cooler, or rather handle sweat better.

First couple of comments in the brief 2 minutes I wore it.....

    1) Surprisingly comfortable, sat down, bent over, what I could do in 2 minutes. My first IWB.

    2) I moved it to 3 and 4 o'clock and in between.....easy and comfortable, easy on-off...clips fit my 5.11 "casual" belt perfectly

    3) AND YES, I need to lose weight...working on it, give a guy a break!

I will post a more detailed review after I have worn it a while, curious to see how it does in shorts in Florida......

    Thanks,
    Harley

Thanks Harley, just what I'm looking for when I get my PPS. Looks like the perfect amount of leather without being overdone like the supertuck. I think I will go with the cowhide for NY though.

Great! I have been looking at the PPS lately, my M&P9c is kinda chunky. I have a supertuck now and it's WAYYY to much leather for me! Thinking of hacking it down, can't wait to hear more on how this works out for you, may be my new setup.

I had to run home for lunch to meet the A/C guy so I put it on and wore it for another 45 minutes or so, felt great even without having a one size up pair of pants etc. I think I feel something pushing from the front bottom of the clip (the leather I guess), pushing into my hip a bit when I sit....so I need to maybe adjust the clips etc but so far, so good.

Yeah, I think Super tucks are better for mid-full size autos. From my research anyway. The Mtac had a little less leather.

I have a MiniTuck for my PM9 and I love it. After you wear it for a few weeks, it will really start to conform to your body.

An easy way to accelerate the process is to bend the two "wings" inward about 45-60 degrees before wearing. This starts to "conforming" process very nicely.

Nice holster. Minitucks are great. You guys that post pics of IWB holsters with no undershirt are tough dudes. Makes me cringe everytime I see it.

It is too hot for me to wear 2 shirts here in sunny Florida so that is why I went for the horsehide.

Looks good harley, glad it's working for ya.

I'm gonna order one with the velcro belt clips and try it this summer. I've made a few homemade ones and love the way they carry my pistols, but I'm thinking I'll give the pros a shot and see how comfortable they are.
