    Canned air works very well...

    Very good post. I agree, it's amazing how much "crud" can get into a gun while in a pocket &/or ankle carry, too.

    For quite a # of yrs I carried my S&W 442 as my BUG in an ankle holster & off-duty in a pocket holster. The crud that can get in & onto the gun is one of the reasons why I chose, carried, & used the snub-nose.

    I did pocket/ankle carry a Glock 26 for a short period, too.
