If you can't find a holster, I'll take that P228 off your hands for you...

For years, I worked outside. Sweat is a bad thing for a leather holster and a blued gun. SS didn't survive much better.

I started carring in a Sidearmor IWB holster with the 15 degree cant with my 23 and fell in love.

Thru the years I still carry with that same holster and a 27.

Most of my work is indoors now but the three Sidearmor holsters still serve me very well.

I own a OWB earlier model
and two IWB for using different belt attachments, namely belt loops and a "J" hook for quick on and off when necessary.

I don't use the J hook much anymore and that holster serves me for the glovebox storage when needed.

Great product and wonderful people to work with.

Haha... LOL... I bet you would. I think I'll find an IWB holster for it eventually. I already have a pretty good OWB rig for it but it's no good for concealed carry.

I've been carrying my P228 in a C-Tac for a few weeks now. It works well for me at about 3:30, I can conceal in all but really tight shirts. The only issue I have with it is sitting in the car. I usually have to adjust a little when I sit down, and then a little when I get back out of the car.

I have a Cross Breed Super Tuck Deluxe ordered for my Glock 19. It should be here any day. I was thinking that I might try an all kydex holster like the Blade Tech Razor, Raven Concealment Low Rider or Comp-Tac Infidel for my Sig.

Check out 5-Shot Leather's LA-CCS. His offset loop design offers comfortable carry with reinforced mouth for easy one handed reholstering. When holstering the firearm it snaps right into place. John Ralston's quality and workmanship is among the best. Give a close look at his finish work and stitching.

Frankly, I have a heck of a time finding holsters I like. Just received another one today that truly sucks! They seldom fit as I expect, so they typically end up in the proverbial holster drawer (bone yard). I have a couple more on their way so I have my toes crossed. Ironically, the one I use the most, actually cost me the least. It’s an older Thunderwear (SmartCarry) with a completely worn out elastic waistband. It tucks well, pulls easy, and its up front and personal for security. I wonder when they'll start offering elephant trim.

BTW: A word about these nice holsters that are so well formed to every single crease of your gun. They do fit, but so much so, you have to be an orangutan to get the damn gun out! I was always partial to Bianchi styles that were more relaxed in the mold with a thumb snap release. As we should all know in this hobby, 'improved doesn't always equal better'.

TT Gunleather serves me very well with a Galco belt.

I use a belt from rickwaltnerholsters and his BH2. it works great for my 5 inch xd 45.
Obama used "hope" and "change" to win the presidency.... Benjamin Franklin wrote in Poor Richard's Almanac, "He that lives upon Hope will die fasting." On change, John Adams wrote, "A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."
