    Little skinny guy

I am a little skinny white guy, 5'7" 125 lbs with a 29" waist and am trying to decide what my options are for a bigger carry gun and holster. I have been thinking about a Glock 26 or other 9mm, but haven't shot anything except the Glock yet. Since I am new to CC, my first and only gun is a Kel-tec P32 which I can carry in the pocket. I am worried about printing and comfort with a bigger gun and don't really know what the best options are.

I know I can't be the only skinny guy that has this problem, so what have some of you other skinny guys found that works?
    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
What exactly is your definition of a "bigger gun"?

I am a skinny guy too. 6'2" with a 30" waist. I routinely carry a taurus PT111 IWB and PT92 OWB. With the correct belt, holster and wardrobe choices it isn't that hard.

How about a Kahr 9mm? Those are pretty slim. Or check out the new Ruger 9mm.

I'm a lot shorter than you (5'1") and have a 30" waist. I carry a Kahr PM9 in a Crossbreed MiniTuck. I carried a Glock 27 for years and years, but the slimmer and lighter PM9 was just too much to resist.

If you are sold on a 9mm, there are many options. Kahr, Walther PPS, Taurus PT709, Kimber Aegis, and the list goes on.
It all depends on your carry method, holster and belt, and the way you dress.

Im 5'10" 140 and my edc is my Glock 36. I like the larger round of the .45 and it is thin enough to hide IWB with normal clothes just fine.

I'm still pretty thin and am very comfortable with a G19 in a Supertuck...

It's really an individual thing - basically what you are comfortable with. Try various guns, holsters out, see what feels OK in a selection of guns you're thinking of. Only way to tell really. You might like and be comfortable with a full size gun that weighs a lot, who knows?

    I'm 6'01" and 175 with a 32" waist. I can conceal a Glock 30 and/or a Kimber Pro TLE/RL without a problem.

In general for us skinny people especially, a single stack gun will conceal quite a bit better. If you want double action, take a look at Kahr. If you want single action, you are just screaming to get a 1911 like my gun (Kimber Ultra Aegis II - see avatar) or the Springfield EMP (pretty much same gun).

oh, and Im a 5'8" 115 lb female btw. and welcome to the forum!

A Sig P239 in 9mm would fit the bill.

I'm a little bigger than you (5'6" and 150lbs, 30" waist), and I carry a SIG P228. I don't wear that loose of clothing, either.
