Hey guys im new here and could use some help. My dad just got ruger sr9c and he is trying to get a holster to carry it IWB. We were looking at crossbreed supertucks and things like that...the question we have is will the sr9c fit in a holster made for the sr9? I say it will bc to me it just seems like the grip and muzzle are chopped down, but he seems to think the compact version he got is thinner than the fullsize...im a glock guy so i have no idea...and help would be appreciated!

Yes..the holsters for the SR9 will fit the SR9C just fine...I had one and carried it in a Sideguard slide holster and it worked fine...Robbie

Not with that gun, but you can heat it up and make it tighter if needed. They give you directions with the holster.

yes it will I know because my Kydex summer carry holster(Comp-Tac Infidel) is for a SR9 and my SR9c fits perfectly now it is a tad long and someday I may just fit it right by chopping off about 1/2" at the end but for now its fine...Originally Posted by gtracy
my Crossbreed was also a SR9 model I just let them know in the notes/comments section of their form you fill out when ordering that it was for the SR9c not the SR9 and they even cut it down a bit to fit the gun just right.
but they fit the same stuff.
