I carry a P239 daily in a UBG Canute, no issues. I just received another Canute for my P226, have only worn it around the house so far to break it in but it seemed like it would do just great. My belt is a 1-1/2" Beltman bullhide with no reinforcement. I have a wilderness tactical belt on order.

I carry a Dan Wesson CBOB every day, all day. Just checked and it's 42.2 oz. loaded.

Carry with a Milt Sparks VMII.

I carried my P 228 for 3 years in a Don Hume clip on leather IWB. Then switched to a Glock 19 ( My second gun/BUG currently.) in a similar Don Hume holster as my Sigs.

The one Sig that has been consistent in my rotation is my '90s P 229 with two barrells (from the factory, same serial numbers), one in .357 Sig, and the other in .40 S&W. My P 229 is as accurate if not more, than my P 228. The "P" series Sigs are excellent firearms.

I carry what I consider a heavy gun. It's a S&W 5904 9mm at 26.5 oz unloaded what is only 2.5 oz less then a Sig 228. I use a levi belt and a CBST. Waring it a full day is a bit of a strane some times. However, what doesn't kills me makes me stronger.

The P-228 is a as others noted a relatively light gun.

I EDC full size full steel 1911s including the heaviest 1911 made to date, the Sig GSR with full rail.

In fact I just got home like :20m ago and have been wearing it all day long including out tonight to a book discussion, author signing and schmooze event among a room full of people that would be _horrified_ if they knew I'd had a gun on me, plus a spare mag, and a knife too...egad! : P

The GSR empty is 41 oz.
With an 8 rd. mag and fully loaded with Corbon DPX (copper projectile) at carry condition it weighs just under 3 lbs.

I carry it in a clip on (single point) leather IWB holster, and have no problems with comfort or concealment.
